Do people on here think he's actually still in charge of negotiating transfers and contracts? Would there not be a chance of conflict of interests given he must have some other job in mind if he's leaving at the end of the month.

No, he's either parked at the coffee machine or colouring cells on spreadsheets.

That really speaks volumes like, they must have been desperate to get him out the door

Howe probably lost trust he was actually working to get these deals done. When you've got one foot out of the door already then you are not exactly going to be committed.

I'd also be worried he's got his eyes on another job and is saving his best work for there.

I wonder who’s in charge of negotiations and what their actual skill and experience is regarding this. Anyone know? I mean I know the names Nickson/Howe but aren’t they more like scouts?

Julian Ward would be a good appointment.

Recently took up a rather big role at FSG didn’t he?

Be interesting to know if the club are taking direction from Eales on this, or a new CEO. Please get this shit nailed so we can have a few years of no boardroom upheaval.

You'd imagine Reuben could be involved too. He has been previously.

Eales too

I think Eales has also underperformed in his role. The whole complaining to PIF that AS didn’t allow him to perform his job, then leading the Mitchell fiasco and unsettling Eddie. It’s been a dismal 12 months at an executive level

Any idea what type of DOF he is ? As in more like Mitchell or Ashworth?

He’s a more traditional Technical Director, so I’d say closer to Ashworth.
