I think sometimes even if the player is flawed, if they have something you sorely need (In this case pace) It can end up being a net positive to the team overall. I know nothing about the lad but what i've read today I kinda get it. With the more high profile players knocking the club back it might be something they will need to consider.

He's usually not Plettenberg bad but I don't know how a German reporter is getting the inside info on an English and Italian clubs' business, even if the player is German.

Seems to me that he'd be well suited to get information from the one source most likely to want to talk about agreeing personal terms: the player.
