In the extended match highlights you can actually see the glove was thrown at him from the crowd.

That’s even more weird. Really hope we never see it again. (Edit: Really, really, hope he shows on over 25 occasions next season that he isn’t going to it again!).

Yeah, it's definitely a bit weird.

Also seen a number of comments in the article and outside of it going on about his "rehearsed" celebration, and him pulling out the glove.

In the extended match highlights you can actually see the glove was thrown at him from the crowd. He didn't have it hidden in his sock as some kind of prop or planned thing!

Think it was one of the club's media team that stand around the pitch.

He can get that damn glove out 20 times for all I care of that means he’s scoring goals

Caulkin is a nauseating cunt these days.

Got sick of him a long time ago. I think there used to be a thread where he got his hoop licked constantly for the most part, but for me he stopped being a proper journalist a long time ago. He does write the odd good piece now and again, but I don't really look forward to reading his stuff any more.

Osula is my hail mary this week on fantasy football. Brought him in and made him captain.

Can't wait for him to do nowt VS fulham, and Haaland gets 4 goals .

Come on son.

Caulkin was perfect in the pre social media era. Beautiful broadsheet writer that understood NUFC and never patronised fans.

Still think he is a decent bloke, but having to churn out weekly podcasts and peddle articles for the athletic does not suit his style.

Aye he loves the club for sure, and tbf he's still capable of putting out some really good articles now and then. I commented on one quite recently that I liked and he's not a petty cunt like so many of the NUFC journalists.

No service , whilst Howe shuffled the players behind like he's a dealer at the blackjack table. Worked hard on a scorching day , there was a lot of problems the day but he wasn't one of them.

Back to normal today, this is why he should be nowhere near out match day squad next year.

Gone from dancing like Michael Jackson to a first touch like him

Absolute nonsense, we couldn't get the ball anywhere near him

and when he starting to get a little joy out wide, he gets subbed off.

Yeah, hated the sub. Once the system was changed he started finding better positions and coming into the game. Only to get yanked for the goofy Wissa, who did absolutely nothing.

Anyone with a minuscule of knowledge in football can understand this guy is not a striker to lead you into Europe. Cash in now and buy a proper striker.

What like Wissa and Woltemade? He’s no worse than them.

Yeah, noticed that too. Got into some great positions in the box, but the delivery never came.

Think Willock was trying to get his move to Fulham in the summer the goof.

He's probably put the nail in the coffin of any move to Fulham with that performance tbh.

https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/osula-nominated-for-premier-league-goal-of-the-season-award

Newcastle United forward William Osula has been nominated for the 2025/26 Guinness Premier League Goal of the Season award.

The Danish frontman, who has scored nine goal in all competitions this season, is up for the award following his stunning late strike in March's 2-1 win against Manchester United in March.

The 22-year-old completed a brilliant solo effort for the ten-man Magpies, surging down the right flank before cutting inside to curl a magnificent clincher past goalkeeper Senne Lammens in front of the Gallowgate End.
