Tisd09
His form has taken me by surprise, fair play, I honestly thought he was a waste of space. He is very erratic of course and doubt he will go on to be considered with the best but think he will be a more than useful squad member.

Dr.Spaceman
I think if we're ambitious enough we keep hold of him at this stage. He's shown more than enough over the last few games that he's (at the very least) a quality player to bring off the bench when we need a shot in the arm. Sell Wissa and bring in someone who can keep us ticking over for a year or two then reassess. It should be obvious by then if Osula is the man or not. St1pe
Given his improvement I wonder if it’ll change our transfer plans in the summer. Him, Wolt and maybe a Wissa replacement if they can offload him.

The ideal scenario would be to unearth a similar profile to Osula that EH can work with - obviously who that is I don’t know - talk of the guy from the Danish league (with the Brazilian sounding name)

I really hope we don't sell Osula now, could bite us massively.

Looks to have matured a bit and he steadied and composed himself well for the finish. Looked like he just put his head down and it went through the keeper's legs tbh. But he got two goals so not going to argue.

Aye it did, but in the opening seconds away to Arsenal when he was through he had a fresh air shot, and the chance v. Forest last weekend setup by Wolt his shot was scuffed/bounced into the ground. Wasn't great goalkeeping yesterday but at least his strike was clean and he himself was composed. Edited May 18 by Fak

I love the guy tbh, even without the finish he causes teams all sorts of problems. I think his movement is getting better FWIW, he's getting on the end of stuff and making good runs. If that's Howe's coaching fair play. There's a lot to work with for sure.
HawK
I hope this is the blossoming of a very good striker rather than just a purple patch. I'd love to see some scrappy goals in the box where he's half-falling over and gets it in off his knee while be battered from 2 defenders after he's grafted to get in that position - the hall mark of a proper PL finisher to show that grit and determination. You need some of that about you imo.

gbandit
He’s fascinating to watch. Incredible pace and such enormous strides when he runs. He absolutely loves some trickery with his feet to wrong foot people. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes it looks absurd but it’s largely effective. His understanding of how to play as a target man has improved immeasurably but the best thing about his development is his peeling off a defender now. He never used to look like he had any idea where to run into, whereas now he’s making very good runs and getting space. He can strike off both feet. My feeling is that he’ll never completely lose his trait of overcomplicating things and he will mess up chances he never should but he’ll make up for it with stuff he creates out of nothing. Also, his work rate off the ball was absolutely superb yesterday
Gallowgate Toon
He is maturing really well. He has that element of chaos still which is what we need up top considering how bland our wingers are, but he does seem to be balancing it all well with smart runs, tidy forward play, and cracking pressing. Oh and goals! I think he could make a fantastic wide forward in this league, but no harm in him doing well up top too.
Sidg
No idea what the club does, and I won't blame them either way. New contract or 40-45m sale. A weirdly luxurious position for us. The problem is that he's the only CF asset at a time when we need to start trading. The thing with Osula is that he'll get at least one chance per game. He's a handful who always makes something happen.
OoOGazOoO
To be fair he has surprised me a lot in the second half of the season, and I am really pleased for him. If he does stay, I do think we have to get used to him throwing in some absolute shockers but given his development, they may be fewer with added performance improvements more often than not. Fenham Mag
I’m happy with our striking options being him, Woltemade and a wissa replacement next season. I wonder if we’ll see Elanga in a central forward role too like we saw with Gordon.
