When he came on I wasn't hopeful as it seemed like a game that wasn't suited to his attributes, pace and running aren't that useful against a team camped in their own third. So I was very pleasantly surprised to see him score. Excited to see him next season bring the footballing equivalent of the Drunken Master to games.

Think Howe/Coaches must see him as a RW long term which may be why he’s seen so little action because they want to really drill down what’s required in that role.

Just if so, what’s the situation next season because we should be signing a RW and he’s then 3rd choice seeing even less football.

Could it be that we intend to use him as a Swiss army knife and play him anywhere across the front?

So to yoof W is a win and L is a loss, very much from American sports - "We had to take the L" or "We're just happy we got the W" or "got the dub".

 

When streamers do something great in a videogame, a real-life stream or whatever the stream chat will often just spam "W" indicating that was a win.  So people will either proactively encourage "Ws in the chat" or note subsequently that there are "Ws in the chat".    As it's something people will exclaim after a great victory or success, people will say it even if there is no chat to post Ws.

Also through online streaming like Twitch gamers I guess. That’s where the ‘in the chat’ bit comes from.
