There’s definitely ability, I think the fact we’ve seen him so fleetingly suggests he’s not able to follow coaching instructions and can’t be trusted. I think Howe is too cautious with some players but with Osula I get it. He looks like he doesn’t have a clue with movement and positioning. He’s only going to get better with minutes though so I hope he gets them, just wish it was on loan

Didn't do anything when he came on, 2 passes with a 0% success and 6 touches.

His only real involvement was a foul on a defender.

 

Not that Willock and Elanga were any good when they came on either mind.

Willock and Elanga were non existent by large as we were just sitting deep and had little intention of wanting to keep boring possession last 15, but then when it went to Osula, he never held it up. 
 

Was it also him that had the ball when we did break in final 10 and it was like 4 on 3? And he just ran into the defender in front of him / passed it straight to the defender? Couldn’t properly who had the ball on that attack as was down opposite end.

Agree, he looked fit and aggressive by his standards. No idea how long that will last, but was good to see.

You can certainly see the player in there, and I think he’s having his best game so far.

When he has a bit of space to run into with or without the ball. He looks quality and you’d say prem level, no bother. Even if he still looks raw. 
 

But back to goal and whenever he is trying to link play. He is shockingly bad. Heavy touch, wrong decision, often off balance and whatever else he gets wrong.  
 

You can see why Howe hasn’t trusted him as the 9 much at all.
