Will Osula

Recommended Posts

If isak gets injured we are knackered especially if Gordon gets put up top, his finishing is nowhere near good enough.

Should be saving your main players legs in games osula should of come on simple as and gordon off.

It is all experience at the end of the day for the lad and not been used ain't gonna help.

I think part of the equation is also that Isak probably needs to develop stamina more than he needs rest.

Agree that I would’ve taken Gordon off earlier but just have to trust the process I guess.

From what we’ve seen I wouldn’t say Osula looks total shite. Looks quite promising to me.

After seeing a few media clips of him recently I'm completely on board with the Eddie approach. He needs to actually be some good before acting that way...

I get the impression it's his way of trying to mix in with the lads and be part of things, to be fair.

Can imagine it would've been a disaster in the Dyer/Bramble days, mind.

Nothing. He's just a happy lad by the look of it. Might be loud and energetic or whatever. I'm not sure what people want him to be?

Football wise, I trust Howe.

Nothing really that I'm aware of, but he's not tugging his forelock all the time so that rubs up some people up the wrong way. On the upside he seems to be loving his time here. No sense of him being wistful...

He’s certainly lively, looks like an ‘on the defender’s shoulder’ type of player and he appears to be very rapid. He’s obviously desperate to do well. Wish we could give him more time to settle into games as the 5 min cameos can be quite frustrating.

I'm firmly at odds with Eddie's use at him at this point, today he should have been introduced for an outlet/ nuisance factor

I'd agree with you usually but Willock did do pretty well. He'll get his chance against Bromley you'd hope.

He obviously can’t be trusted to play yet. Let’s be honest, there’s nothing in his career to suggest he’s a PL player yet and Eddie sees him train every day so I’m not sure how you can criticise the decision to leave him on the bench. You can criticise the decision to sign him as effectively our backup striker, obvs.

He's a big strong runner and the situation when Isak came off called for an outlet/ someone to cause a bit of bother when they were ob top. I can't see the harm tbh

Will people just chill about Osula. He’ll get his chance, probably next season. He’ll have to wait like Hall did. He’s only ever done good things every time he’s played and come very close to scoring a couple of times.
