Sibierski
£10m isn’t peanuts for someone who’s only scored in L1 either. Could’ve signed Jay Stansfield for that who has quite a bit of potential.
Holloway
If he can't get minutes when you're 4-0 up with half an hour to go it can't be doing much for his confidence. Could've been managed better imo
andycap
If isak gets injured we are knackered especially if Gordon gets put up top, his finishing is nowhere near good enough. Should be saving your main players legs in games osula should of come on simple as and gordon off. It is all experience at the end of the day for the lad and not been used ain't gonna help. AyeDubbleYoo
I think part of the equation is also that Isak probably needs to develop stamina more than he needs rest. Agree that I would’ve taken Gordon off earlier but just have to trust the process I guess. From what we’ve seen I wouldn’t say Osula looks total shite. Looks quite promising to me. Skeletor
The blond hair was throwing me off today. Kept thinking it was Big Joe up front
OverThere
After seeing a few media clips of him recently I'm completely on board with the Eddie approach. He needs to actually be some good before acting that way...
toontownman
Wouldn't mind the odd reserve run out though at least.

Can imagine it would've been a disaster in the Dyer/Bramble days, mind.

He's just a happy lad by the look of it. Might be loud and energetic or whatever. I'm not sure what people want him to be? Football wise, I trust Howe. On the upside he seems to be loving his time here. No sense of him being wistful... Edited December 27, 2024 by

He’s certainly lively, looks like an ‘on the defender’s shoulder’ type of player and he appears to be very rapid. He’s obviously desperate to do well. Wish we could give him more time to settle into games as the 5 min cameos can be quite frustrating.
Lotus
I keep wanting to see a bit more of him but every time I do I wish he’d be just a little better. EH will do all he can to develop him but the player has to demonstrate the improvements to their game.
Holloway
I'm firmly at odds with Eddie's use at him at this point, today he should have been introduced for an outlet/ nuisance factor
nemtizz
I get he’s raw and that much is obvious but surely he’s a better option than Willock

He'll get his chance against Bromley you'd hope.
buzza
Willock was put on to solely track bissouma and he did it to perfection. Not sure if osala would have the nous?

Ronaldo
He obviously can’t be trusted to play yet. Let’s be honest, there’s nothing in his career to suggest he’s a PL player yet and Eddie sees him train every day so I’m not sure how you can criticise the decision to leave him on the bench. You can criticise the decision to sign him as effectively our backup striker, obvs.

I can't see the harm tbh
Ronaldo
I think the tactical plan required more than just hoying a runner with a bit of presence on.
Joelinton7
Will people just chill about Osula. He’ll get his chance, probably next season. He’ll have to wait like Hall did. He’s only ever done good things every time he’s played and come very close to scoring a couple of times.
Ronaldo
If he’s backup striker next season we’ll all be fuming. He’ll be off on loan when Wilson finally leaves and we get another forward in.
