Going down to the wire this Tbh I'd have no issue with us walking away even if it is "only" over £5m and we spent over three weeks on it, as long as we go for a quick hit on one of the CBs from the continent we've been linked to in recent days. ponsaelius Posted August 23, 2024 Share Posted August 23, 2024 (edited) My biggest worry is not the issue with agreeing the deal but that I think there's no chance Palace sell unless they secure his direct replacement. There's a lot of moving parts, and we're essentially heading into the last week of the window (that includes midweek fixtures for both clubs) depending on getting this deal signed to save our window.
