The £40 million they've just pocketed by selling their Stamford Bridge pie services to an offshore, unknown hedge fund is fully earned.

SUPERTOON Posted Monday at 17:45 Share Posted Monday at 17:45 I would imagine it’s not that an expensive deal for Chelsea. They are owed any future sell on and they will involve any future Chalobah fee.
jack j Posted Monday at 17:52 Share Posted Monday at 17:52 How many centre backs this season so far already? Can't be far off double figures Can see why they want another

Yorkie Posted Monday at 18:36 Share Posted Monday at 18:36 If he ends up back at Chelsea I'd assume that part of their motivation is just to stop us from getting him. I assumed the same with Tosin. They're allowed to do that whilst we have to sweat over every decision.

Aye, they have a long history of doing 'parking' signings with seemingly no player that's gone along with it noticing or caring.
KaKa Posted Monday at 20:01 Share Posted Monday at 20:01 I'd be fine with this. Once Parish started flapping his gums, wasn't really that keen. Think going into the last year of his contract now a bunch of other clubs will be in for him looking for a good deal, and throwing more money at him salary wise. Glad to look elsewhere. There's got to be better value out there. I hope we've shut the door on this move.

The Prophet Posted Monday at 21:05 Share Posted Monday at 21:05 Guehi would be a very nice fit for our style of play. If Palace lower their demands, I bet we'd be interested.

While they are stockpiling an impressive collection of top class players, you can imagine it can't be much good for building team spirit. Some of their players like Madueke have already been accused of taking their foot off the gas. I know some managers specifically don't like having large squads because it can affect the unity of the camp.
