So we sacrified ever seeing new teams at the top and dreams so clubs including one with 115charges can drop half a bill in a year whilst others that can do likewise aren't allowed to. Didn't see that come a million miles off. Edited January 16 by Jonas

As long as everything they’re doing to string it out is legal, which we assume it is, you’d be taking a mad risk issuing any kind of punishment for doing that. Drewboy74
And he gets to play against us in the 2nd leg. Actually, that's alreet cos the fucka always scores for us anyway. Own goal wanka.

joeyt
it's an interesting quandary if you put yourself in Palace shoes. Do you: A) Reject £70mil fee for one of your best players and win the FA Cup for the first time and qualify for Euope for the first time and then sell him for £20mil eighteen months later? B) Or take the £70mil in the summer of 2024 for your captain and probably not win the cup I'm all for laughing at Parrish but as a football fan I'm taking that first option all day long Edited January 16 by joeyt

I've just seen that on the Chronic website (Easy Ryder), but sure I read or heard that players signed between the two legs couldn't play in the 2nd leg? EDIT: Apparently Guehi wouldn't be able play the 2nd leg for them... Edited January 16 by TK-

trx345
Love that Parish is losing him on a free. Glad the Lad won FA Cup! He’s no better CB than Joe Go ez. He’s the latest on brand player, that’s why Parish’s market went from us paying 60M to the he lad leaving on free.

Even spending £300mil in Jan didn't win them the league against an average Liverpool side. Edited January 16 by duo

I agree pretty much no-one would swap the money for the cup but at the time the chances of them winning it were slim regardless. PSR is shit the fact we even question this stuff. duo
The only reason Pep has stuck at City for so long is he knows he's at the only place he can spend these sums of money now. Barca can't, Bayern can't - where's he going to go? Edited January 16 by duo

Kanj
City are basically doing what Real do - "Ony wants City" because they can sign a player who has control over his move, will run a contract down to have the leverage, and then take an insane signing on fee and wage packet. Crook is saying 300k in wages, 20m deal rising to 30m. Of course City could go out and spend 65m on a CB but they + Player holds the cards.

trx345
Some should stop Pep? How? Bernardo Silva and Pedri did the same role. Rodri came on and passed it, made sure we didn’t get a sniff. I look at at how Pep killed the game off. I don’t think Howe can beat Pep.
