These sort of players are what will be key to close gap on the top sides in coming seasons. Don’t need to be superstars, but if they turn out to be players who would hold their own in lower half of prem, they’re the perfect squad players. Means they can be relied upon, and money can be more concentrated on the real stars, rather than needing to buy squad filler that comes with fees and wages.

Didn’t someone on here who watches a lot of academy football say he’s better than Lewis?

He was in my sons class at school and he was always the superstar, Lewis just used to tag along

Weirdly I'm very glad he's broken into the first team. I always used to feel quite bad that his much younger brother had made it and he was on the sidelines.

Whatever the love between them it must have been hard to watch from afar whilst your little brother steals the show!

Isn't the third youngest brother supposed to be the best one? Imagine if we ever were to start a game with three Mileys in midfield

Someone said his Dad said that but he certainly didn’t. They are all mint to be fair having 4 sons in football is amazing.

I think if that was the case, Jamie would have broken into the first team earlier since he's a few years older and physically miles ahead of Lewis. My understanding from a local coach who worked with them both is that Jamie was a very good footballer growing up, but Lewis was pretty much untouchable; he was basically Zidane relative to the other kids he had worked with.

Hopefully Jamie has used Lewis breaking into the team to kick himself on.

He was but found he enjoyed it more at the Sunderland academy. At that age its where you are more comfortable and enjoy it.
