SuperFlat
Just nice to have an Ornstein bid story tbh. Buzzing.

janpawel
It isn't clear how much is with add ons Could it be we offered 40m + 5m with add ons? Wonder how high we are prepared to go
GallowgatePigeon
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to finally se a bit of movement, but is Elanga the transformational purple we need? I'm not being flippant, I honestly have no clue if this guy is any good as I don't watch much football aside from our games

If Wilson won't be staying striker or versatile forward will be up there with RW position. Not disagreeing both at 100m+ seem likely but definitely need to recruit for both positions somehow. ElDiablo
Some nice finishes and crosses in there. Overall the main takeaway is that we should go all out for MGW though.
George Bailey
Underwhelming in my opinion

Turnbull2000
Move on. We can't afford to pay over the odds. Also resent gifting Forest again after the Anderson farce.

Optimistic Nut
If we're looking at him as a first choice winger in a Champions League team then can't blame them valuing him £50-60m.

SUPERTOON
I hope we don’t pay 60 million, however that is still cheaper than prices quoted for Semenyo and Kudus (our apparent alternative options).
Joelinton7
People have to remember that he’d be 10x the player under Eddie than he ever will be at Forest. Eddie will turn him world class.
The Prophet
Seems most of the press have been briefed that £60 million is the price Forest want. If we met at £55 million, it wouldn't be unreasonable.
christ
A front three of Isak, Gordon and Elanga would be phenomenal. Some people need to give their heads a wobble.

Well if there’s tons of transitions into space then he would do well in these moments. He doesn’t improve us in general play whatsoever. He’s poor technically. He doesn’t evolve us one bit. If we are to spend 50m+ it must be for a player that improves us in many areas of the game. Edited 18 hours ago by Ikon

He wouldn't be transformational, but he'd improve the first team.

We need to be more consistently really good against better teams. He'll help. Our coaching team will make him more effective than he already is. He’s more explosive and quicker than Murphy but apart from that he offers nothing more. If we are in the attacking third in a non transitional situation he won’t be able to keep hold of the ball well and drag defenders out of shape to open up space for others . He’s not a 50-60m player as he’s limited in many areas. Not worth this much money on a slight upgrade on Murphy.
