Ikon
I would much rather spend 60m on Kudus than 50m on Elanga. Every day of the week! (As an example). Much more talent. Think he offers a lot more as well as being the better option in front of Tino. Edited 14 hours ago by Ikon
gbandit
I’d be pretty down on Elanga if he was mainly one-footed but he’s two-footed and there are very few wingers that are as good as him off both feet with crossing and shooting. Don’t think people are crediting the value in that highly enough
HayDen Traces
If those are our targets its Elanga all day for me.

Or is it a case of another player competing for that right wing position? Unless Murphy gets hurt or slows down, Elanga would be his backup and you know that is how Howe will play him. Sandrotastico
Can't we just squad share with forest? It's getting that way... I trust Howe, but I was hoping for a more technical wizard than another athletic force.

Not many players fit those criteria; Elanga does. I’m confused as to why people don’t think he’d be a massive success here.

Amazing how many games those simple principles win you with a solid defence and great striker…

I’m sure many on here or in fanbase in general fawn over Ginola rather than Robert as easier on the eye. However I’d have Robert over Ginola everyday of the week and I think his figures would back that up.

Crimson Cardigan
Interesting that forest view themselves as rivals. I think they’re going to find it a lot harder going next season.

What gives you such confidence in him? I think 60m for him would be a huge gamble.

Lotus
I've seen plenty of games when Adeyemi couldn't find his arse with both hands let alone another Dortmund player anywhere near the opposition box.

What gives you such confidence in him? I think 60m for him would be a huge gamble. I think he is extremely talented as well as dynamic. He offers a lot in general play and has really good technical ability. His ceiling is extra high imo. Last season he went a bit stale overall but still very very good in some games. One major factor might be that he changed positions every now and then, as well as West Ham not really evolving/functioning properly as a team with a lot of negativity surrounding the club. I think with a new challenge and under Howe, in a settled/consistent environment he would find his best form and start firing on all cylinders again. toontownman
Very happy if we up it slightly and then walk if they dont take it. They are signing his replacement(s) All those other options mentioned are as good if not better imo. We can get better value abroad.
