Garnacho available for £50m. More G&A than Elanga last season and 3 years younger.

He's a great lad too. Top professional.

In PL 9 less assists and the same amount of goals.

Don’t disrespect his Europa League numbers against the likes of Bucharest and Bodo.

If he was a great lad and a top professional he wouldn't be available for £50m. Nice bit of WUMMERY though.

I do like Garnacho ability-wise but apart from being an obvious prick, doubt he'd fit our profile for work rate other than anything else.

I’d be happier if we spent £50m on gazpacho

Even without all the baggage we couldn’t be signing him as he just looks too weird.

Face like a cross-dressing kebab

Garnacho is one of the hardest pressing players :D He’ll have a rep hanging over him like Man Utd players have but is soon debunked as soon as they leave. Whoever snags him this summer will have a really good player.

Nah, they’ll have a wildcard player with some really strong attributes and some huge weaknesses. If his head was right then he could be trained into being a top player, I don’t believe his head is right or ever will be

Think he falls into the ‘should/could be great but it’s too risky to believe he’ll get there’ category.

I really hope we're casting our eye on Bakayoko in addition to Elanga, especially for the reported £20m.

As reluctant as I'd be to sell Barnes - purely because Gordon has a far higher ceiling - having 2 right footed left wingers who can only play on the left is pretty restricting tactically, as we found out at times last year.

Having Gordon on the left with Elanga being equally adept on both wings and Bakayoko as a further high quality option on the right (and maybe left too) gives us some much more flexibility tactically.

Dream stuff but I can't see a valid reason not trying for it seeing as we'd recoup the cost from Barnes anyway.
