Really terrible finishing, done enough elsewhere to win this but absolutely garbage up front. If that clicked we would have hammered these

This. It's frustrating as fuck because overall this is a great performance. Getting 1 point out of this and the Everton match is a nightmare, deserve so much more

Firmly of the opinion that if you waste chance after chance after chance then you don't deserve a thing. It's not bad luck, it's not a jinx, it's really poor finishing and play. It's all about taking chances and we've been shocking in front of goal for quite a while now

I can't see us finishing higher than 8th this season. Things aren't happening. Suppose it's a good kick up the arse for the club given the awful summer window. The squad still doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Gordons chance wasn't a good finish for sure but it was far from an easy chance as well.

Defender was all over him, he got no power behind the shot.

100%. It's why Gordon melting every time he's clean through is a very big problem.

If we scrape the top half, that's probably about fair.

Unfortunately it'll mean the departure of some of our better players, which I suppose might open up some FFP space to rebuild.

Entire situation was of course caused by FFP, which means it'll have done precisely what it was meant to do.

I said messy. No need to call me out wanking. Pathetic back at you.

Relentless shite that's why I called you out. Don't worry you can get fucked from now on

The problem is both Gordon and Barnes only really look effective on the left, still one of our strangest moves spending 85 million on two LW's when we don't have any competent RW's, both are good players of course but when money is limited, spending half of that on an RW would have been the smart choice.

Wouldn't be surprised if Welbeck experienced a disc prolapse or something based on his facial expression. Fingers crossed he will be ok.

I was wondering same thing. He looked in big time pain right away.

Top half would be underwhelming and a massive set back.
