As far as I know you'll also be suspended in the cup if the next game after 5 league yellows is a cup game. Or?

He was already suspended for the first leg of the semi final due to him picking up that yellow card against Brentford.

Not as far as I know. Joelinton got his 5th booking against Leicester, played against Brentford in the cup mid-week, then was suspended against Ipswich because the suspension was for the league.

Now I'm assuming that's changed since Pope got sent off in the league and missed the EFL cup final, but this season anyway that's looking like how it works.

Yellow card suspensions are competition specific. Red card (and misconduct like Cunha) suspensions are not.

They also get away with fairly blatant fouls and blocks every corner.  I'd imagine with clubs having so many analysts and what not nowadays.  They've already been on the blower to PGMOL.

Not to mention the continual fouling on the 'keeper they keep getting away with.  Did it every set piece when we played them at home with Pope.

I fucking hate them, I really do. Any other club I'd still roll my eyes at the frequency, but fuck it they've found a hack and more power to you. But them of all clubs? Fuck off.

I just can't get over all their cryarseing over our way less offensive tactics the last few years while they now lord it up because they appear to have finally worked out 'dark arts' years later than anyone else. Not to mention use it at the kind of rate that's going to bring rule changes.

My most hated club by a mile these days, they really are.

If our energy levels are good I really fancy us to get something here. I expect Arteta to rotate as well.

They don’t look good. Seemed leggy since Man Utd second half. Hopefully was all just a ploy!

Agreed, I actually thought the Man Utd game was a ploy but changed my mind after the spurs game.

I don't know why, but I immediately felt sick looking at that routine, like a proper weirdo routine that.

They were absolutely minging against us at SJP. Proper Allardyce stuff playing for corners and set pieces.
