Not sure about parking the bus at the Emirates mind, that's asking for trouble We don’t like going to them either though - we beat them a lot here but normally only by a goal. They normally put daylight in between us when they’re at home. Speaking with my head I honestly don’t think we’ll win this.

I prefer Liverpool over Spurs (if we get job done). They’re the top side, but if they have a wobble in 2nd half of season, all pressure is on them and after a UCL 16 game (where there’s a chance it could be against a top side like Man City giving their position) they could be tired with injuries. Aye we normally get a spanking there but two things: we know how to upset them mentally plus I believe we are about to come into the form of the season. I'm happy enough with the draw with what remains, and being at home for the 2nd leg is crucial imo
Guybrush Posted Friday at 09:10 Share Posted Friday at 09:10 Reading some Liverpool fan views and they seem happy to have gotten Spurs. Apparently we 'kick teams all over'? Do we have that reputation? Fully aware I'm as bias as it gets and live in an NUFC bubble, but we're hardly the Stoke of old.

Comments like this are borne out of lack of acceptance that we have a lot of quality in our squad so us getting anywhere near their level must be due to other methods such as "kicking them all over the pitch", "cheating" or "wasting time". Entitlement.
Ronson333 Posted Friday at 09:41 Share Posted Friday at 09:41 We’ll win this, quite comfortably too. They’ve spent something silly like £700m but still can’t beat us.. And we know how to give them a good slap at home, they are a mentally weak club and both sets of supporters know it.

TheBrownBottle Posted Friday at 11:50 Share Posted Friday at 11:50 Arsenal will (correctly) be favourites, but we’ve every chance of going through, especially with the second leg at home. Can’t wait tbh.

I don't think they're dirty, but Schar and Burn are chippy and don't shy away from stuff. Big Joe is a maniac Bruno is a bit snide. Tonali is solid but not dirty. Not sure we have anyone else that gets particularly stuck in?

They machete someone and it's a mistimed tackle. You give them a sidewards glance and they want a murder charge. Thus isn't just Merseyside based Liverpool fans, this is also the plakka glory hunters around the country if not world. Two of my best friends fwiw. Ronson333 Posted Friday at 23:39 Share Posted Friday at 23:39 Nasri called his own fan base emotional and soft, and that’s what they are. They aren’t even the biggest club in Their own city, Chelsea are bigger. Well do them, it’s easy to get in their heads.

madras Posted Saturday at 00:14 Share Posted Saturday at 00:14 At the time Nasri was at Arsenal wasn't it peak Abramovic so (if) at that time he'd have (have had) a point.
Ronson333 Posted Saturday at 00:20 Share Posted Saturday at 00:20 The only thing Chelsea have less than Arsenal is the stadium, they could probably fill the same. But, without doubt they’ve won europes biggest trophies and Arsenal haven’t.
