What a perfect midfield Howe has structured, onwards and upwards.

Loved the way all three combined to create the opener.

They look a great combination of skills and abilities. It's an incredible balance.

Going to keep getting better the more they play together too.

Delighted with that, we look lethal going forward. Merry Christmas everyone.

Bruno being Futher up is deadly he both sees and has the balls to play those forwards passes instead of backwards and sideways.

Hall brilliant. Tonali class. Jer Jer. Schar imperious.  Unflustered really, that was just my shot away to buggery nerves.

Outrageous record at home to these continues. Two defeats since 89 and neither with eleven men.

Forguson will be effing and blinding and mumbling about how great Villa are into crate of Sherry.

Placated and abundant libations. Cracking stuffs.

Thank fuck we've worked out how to play against 10 men, tonali absolutely bossing the midfield definitely had something to do with it.

Yup, we now have two very gifted passers in midfield, and one of them will eventually find an opening.

Tonali played brilliantly. There were a couple of moments where he looked a level or two above everyone else. A bit towards the end where he held possession in our third, spinning and bumping two Villa players away from him before releasing a simple pass just looked so effortless. Similar to when Bruno started playing for us and I couldn't believe he was a Newcastle player.

Excellent win that.

I was really worried about that game as well, Villa are a good team, and have just hit form again.

I think the red card was soft, in fact I don’t think it was one at all, and from that, everything just fell into our lap.

Stood on his leg and back deliberately after the ball had gone in what way was it soft?
