Duran has blatantly just tried to leave something on him (which is fine, it’s football and you get nowhere being too soft) but it’s just gone a bit wrong. Red card all day as he’s looking where he’s planting that second leg. The replay from behind shows it clearly.

Great win for us against a really really good side. You can see why Emery was our first choice, Villa are unbelievably well drilled. Credit to Howe and our players for coming out on top.

Would have been a really tough contest 11 vs 11. They were getting the upper hand in the phase of play before the sending off.

I'm the end though I'm disappointed it wasn't 5 or 6 nil, but the ref protected them a bit.

Onwards!

Watching Final score on the iPlayer. Troy Deeney being Troy Deeney 😂😂😂

On Chelsea losing

"They'll be disappointed with the dropped point, Troy?"

"I'm just looking at the table. 1 point between the the 3 teams there (meaning Chelsea, Forest, Arse) so, yeah. But you look at Forest 3rd. No one would have predicted that. Liverpool top no one would've said that. Newcastle 5th, no body would've said THAT...."

Or words to that effect 😂

This post match analysis man. Everyone in the media desperate to get Isak sold.

They're still stuck in the past man.

They think we're still under Ashley's thumb and that the so called "top clubs" can still just cherry pick other teams players.

Isak has been that good I genuinely don't know who can afford him now.

It's going to have to be a PSR busting, record breaking fee from whoever it is.

Nothing at all to fret about.

What’s Emery spouting? Var should be used and decisions should be taken with time. So are you saying the non VAR decision was wrong?

He reckons VAR need to review a decision that hasn't been made yet.

Am I really bias, as I just looked on Reddit and everyone seems to be saying it was a really harsh red card, whereas I think it was a blatant

It actually looked a little more accidental from one angle as he slips with his left, but I also wonder why he stretched his left out to stamp on Schär with that one first. Still think it looked deliberate, but from one angle it leaves you with a little bit of doubt actually. I thought it was obvious earlier.

What's Emery on about? The red card was checked by VAR. Some coaches get away with talking absolute bollocks. Any footage of this 20 men melee ?

I think he's suggesting that for big decisions the ref should always look at the screen to check his own decision.
