Ā

They arenā€™t as big of a club as people think though.

Absolutely nobody thinks theyā€™re a big club, not even their own fans.Ā

Where theyā€™ve been recently is exactly what youā€™d expect.

Have to say I was expecting a bit more from the third based on people's reactions. :lol:Ā Tidy goal, like. Maybe I'm getting desensitised to the quality of some of our players.Ā

It's the effortlessness of the goal and the fact it's Sandro that makes it for me. Plus his celebration :aww:

All in the one touch build up. Sandroā€™s reading of the move from 30 yards away. Time to overthink yet kept his cool and give GK the eyes and slotted in emphatically. One of our best goals this season.

It's a nice goal for sure. Second one was better though imo. Another brilliant assist; Murphy's touch past the defender is fantastic and the pass is perfect - then an incredible first touch from Isak followed by a top finish.Ā

Ā

Both goals show our ruthlessness which is always so great to see.Ā

I think the third one seems better when you are watching it live, the anticipation when he is running through makes the finish that much better. Itā€™s one of those on highlights once you know itā€™s a goal doesnā€™t have quite the same hit. Still a lovely bit of play though and shows Tonali at his absolute best.

Ā

Both great goals to be honest, with genuine top class play.Ā

If youā€™re not aware that Le Tissier has went down the conspiracy wank rabbit hole then heā€™s been off your radar for a while. Ā He absolutely is a conspiracy nonce.

Ā

Oh yeah ok I've been off the radar because I haven't realised about the "conspiracy wank rabbit hole". Have you maybe considered that you're spouting childish nonsense?

Where have you been?Ā [emoji38] Have you not wondered why there is a "makes you think?" In every other thread these days.

Ā

I've been in the real world, I actually do think, apparently you don't?Ā  Memes aren't something you should consider thought.

Ā

Here's an idea, how about people keep their political opinions to themselves on a Football forum.Ā  There's plenty of Football based reasons for Newcastle fans to dislike Matt Le Tissier.Ā Ā

Agree with this.

Southampton ascented to the FL in 1920'21 and quickly became stalwarts of the second tier.

They got their first taste of top tier football in 1966-67 and have subsequently played at the highest level for 47 of the last 59 seasons.

The Saints have finished in the top 4 only once - in 1983-4, when they were runners up to the Red Pool of Liver.Ā

Ā

Wow ok. I didn't see the whole conversation just your post suggesting the guy was making up childish nonsense calling Le tissier a conspiracy theory guy.Ā

Ā

But a quick Google shows that he quite clearly has gone down that path.

They arenā€™t ā€™political opinionsā€™. Ā Le Tissier went crackers of the loony variety; conspiracies arenā€™t political unless youā€™re on the lunatic fringe. Ā Scoring a few crackers of the goal variety isnā€™t usually enough of a football reason to dislike a player - most of the players I remember hating had little to do with performances vs NUFC.

Iā€™ve never met anyone ever who put ā€˜clubā€™ ā€˜bigā€™ and ā€˜Southamptonā€™ into the same sentence

Ā

edit: including their fans, whoā€™ve never came across as arrogant or entitled to me. Ā Maybe they are and Iā€™ve missed it

Opinions aren't opinions if you disagree with them and call them conspiracies?Ā  Completely ridiculous.Ā  I don't need to agree with Matt Le Tissier to know he is allowed an opinions.Ā  Loud mouth know nothings like you who just repeat rubbish irritate me far more than he does.

I never said he isnā€™t entitled to an opinion, just as Iā€™m entitled to call him a maladjusted wanker who is spreading lies and fear using his privileged platform despite speaking from a position of zero expertise. Ā Heā€™s absolutely allowed to do that. Ā I also said that they arenā€™t political opinions, because theyā€™re not.Ā

Ā

Why do folks like you always think that criticising someoneā€™s opinion is the same as saying they arenā€™t allowed an opinion? Ā Probably best to calm yourself down and read what people have written first. Ā Peace and love xx
