Joe Dynamite Posted Monday at 15:38 Share Posted Monday at 15:38 Is this going to see the old style queue system to login on the selected day?
HaydnNUFC Posted Monday at 15:38 Share Posted Monday at 15:38 We had a max of about 40k season ticket holders under Benitez iirc? Then 10k walked away (hence the freebies and subsequent 52k gates just before COVID), club then issued another 1k or 2k? Hazard a guess we have the same number of STH as the allocation. Sima Posted Monday at 15:39 Share Posted Monday at 15:39 I've had tickets for every home game in the cup but I get the same priority as a ST that couldn't be fucked going to any and a member that only went to one game. Nah, bullshit.

Big River Posted Monday at 15:40 Share Posted Monday at 15:40 there's about 31k season ticket holders according to this
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Monday at 15:40 Share Posted Monday at 15:40 (edited) Yeah, so it can’t sell out to ST holders, but almost. Guess even those that don’t want to go will buy them to pass to mates or sell. Edited Monday at 15:41 by AyeDubbleYoo

And then not all of those will have went to all the home games. I'd say pot 6 is extremely limited numbers but will still happen, but thats pure speculation. There'll also be some returns/payments fail like happened to my mate last time round.

AyeDubbleYoo Posted Monday at 15:43 Share Posted Monday at 15:43 I’m really surprised they didn’t go for a ballot for each pot. Even if they gave far fewer tickets to the member pots, it would give some people a chance. Allowing the early pots to buy them all up is annoying. That said, sounds like a few thousand will be left since people can only buy one each.
Vedder Posted Monday at 15:43 Share Posted Monday at 15:43 Screwed members big time here IMO. At least we had a small chance last time.
Superior Acuña Posted Monday at 15:45 Share Posted Monday at 15:45 Actually thought they might throw members a bit more if only to incentivise people to sign up
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Monday at 15:45 Share Posted Monday at 15:45 (edited) Even though I enjoyed the cup games, I did have it in my head that it would impossible to go the final so it was a bit of a double-edged sword. Possibly next season watch them on TV. Edited Monday at 15:46 by AyeDubbleYoo
TheGuv Posted Monday at 15:47 Share Posted Monday at 15:47 Not sure I’ve got any sympathy for a ST holder that hasn’t entered the cup scheme. Surely you should know the risks by now? Saying that, the Club really need to get a handle on the whole ticketing situation full stop imo.
Geogaddi Posted Monday at 15:49 Share Posted Monday at 15:49 This suggests we have more than 32k season ticket holders mind . What happens if I signed up to the Cup Scheme but couldn't make any of the matches so forwarded or resold my ticket? Due to the nature of having more people on the Cup Scheme than tickets available a priority selling order has been outlined. Priority has been given to those fans that attended games. ponsaelius Posted Monday at 15:49 Share Posted Monday at 15:49 Think Members who went to 3-4 cup games have been mugged off being lumped in with ST holders who went to none. No reward at all for going to this competition all the way through. Also think the priority of the cup scheme itself is a bit weird. Lad I know just said his mate who is a ST holder went to 2 home games, 2 away games in Carabao but because he hadn't enrolled at the outset he is in pot 6 You can't please everybody with this stuff but these both feel a bit of a misstep. Also worry that we'll have another cup final with too many oldies sitting down rather than young lads desperate to stand a make a racket.
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Monday at 15:50 Share Posted Monday at 15:50 Most people who forward or resell their ticket probably do it informally anyway, so the club will have no record. Certainly for home games.
Wilson Posted Monday at 15:52 Share Posted Monday at 15:52 (edited) Pot 3. Not being able to purchase a membership as I have a season ticket has stopped me being in pot 2. Took the bairn to the Chelsea game using a seperate account we have memberships on so I did attend the game, just not on my St account... I transferred the st ticket to a mate. Safe to say I won't be going the legitimate route with transferring tickets in future. Edited Monday at 15:53 by Wilson
Scoreboard82 Posted Monday at 15:53 Share Posted Monday at 15:53 Why the wait for the KO time? The 2 teams have been sorted since last Thursday.
bobbydazzla Posted Monday at 15:53 Share Posted Monday at 15:53 (edited) No point in dressing this up. I think the ticketing team are FUCKING DAFT CUNTS AND I HATE THEM So if you're a member that gets to every game, chases down tickets, works your fucking arse off in the face of a shambolic system, all to ensure you can secure a ticket get to every match, you're actually: a) a 2nd class citizen compared to anyone with an ST, whether they've gone to a cup game or not b) on exactly the same footing as a member who has put in 1 x ballot application all season These arseholes who divvy out tickets can GET TO FUCK Edited Monday at 15:55 by bobbydazzla

So I’m disappointed but I was expecting it. The Liverpool approach seems much fairer to people who’ve actually been to the games. But that said, those ST holders who didn’t bother are probably quite a small number. Even if they didn’t go they would have bought tickets and sold/given them to people off the record.
