Can't give Salah a sniff in this. As shown tonight basically touched the ball twice and assisted and scored. 

Seen enough though in our game against them to know we can cause them trouble.

Both the Trust and the Supporters Club seem to be putting events on, and I reckon loads will just gather around the pubs of Covent Garden, Leicester Sq, Kings Cross.

judging from train ticket prices in WCML on the Sat most (of the local fans) will just be going down on the day. They have in my experience as many day trippers as Man U although not sure how many of the Paignton and Surrey reds will get tickets for this.

As much as I despise Man Utd with every fibre of my being, I’ll begrudgingly say fair play to them, in 2023 they just turned up for the game, won it, celebrated, went home happy. Clinical, if you want to call it that 

 

Whereas we celebrated for 24 hrs pre-match, didn’t turn up for the game either in the stands or on the pitch, then went home hungover and gutted. The occasion seemed to a bigger focus than winning the cup 

 

Understandable as we win nowt and they win loads, but I’d rather we don’t get overexcited until the game and instead just turn up to Wembley, go ballistic and win it this time

I’m sorry to say your mate didn’t think that one through. You’re not even allowed time for for a wedding midweek unless it’s for a close family member (E.g sibling). So when it’s for a football cup final you’re going to be laughed out of the room. And now he has no room to pull a sickie or another excuse. 

 

When I was teaching my Grandad must have died 4 times. Weirdly enough he also happened to live in Kent - which meant I needed a day off for travel and a day off for the funeral.

I just think if we lost I'd be desperate to get back home. If we win it'll be great heading back up and being able to have a drink in the town on the evening.

Does anyone know if you'd need a ticket for a 2 (nearly 3) year old?

The only answer that comes close to answering it on the Club's FAQs is about juniors under 16 (I forget the exact age) needing to be supervised at all times. I mean that's a given considering he's 2, but no mention of needing a ticket. 

 

Whilst I've never taken my son to a match before, I've worked at sporting venues in the past and under 3's are usually permitted on a parent's knee without the need of a ticket.

at least the bairn wont be frightened by any loud noise.
