It does feel like the club don't give a flying fuck about the members who go to all / most games

We're each paying thousands of quids for tickets every season but get absolutely no recognition for that

The only practical difference between someone like me who by hook or by crook manages to buy a ticket for every game versus someone with an ST, is that they were willing to keep going under Ashley and I wasn't

And for clarity, I have no beef with the ST holders, it's the club I'm pissed off with

Worked out I spent £2000 last season on tickets 😂

20k corporate - disgusting :gm's patter:

This is what people should really be angry about it. Fuckin joke 31,000 seats in a 90k seater stadium. If Liverpool get 31,000 too that’s 38,000 seats possibly going to people who support neither club.

Gotta make that £1900 per person somehow.

I do think I might start watching cup games on TV.

Not that I don’t enjoy them but save the money to soften the blow of the league game costs, and no expectation of a final ticket to worry about.

Probably isn’t the time to say this really, but even if you can’t get a ticket for the final, the being in the stadium for that Arsenal semi will always be something you can look back on fondly.

They should be transparent about it at least. I've gone to every cup game except Arsenal when the club fucked the ticketing up, with the hope that it might give me a minimal chance of a ticket in this situation. But the club won't even give active members that.

I might stop going to any games, apply for 1 x cup game via the ballot and I’ll still have the same chance of a cup final ticket as I’ve got for going to every home game in league and cup

I can then spend the £1000+ I’ll save per season on high quality grumble mags from Sven Adult Books

Instead of a Mags+ member, I’ll be a XXXMags member

Ah yeah, I mean they’re sometimes good games and worth watching. It’s just that you know you’re not really considered as part of the most serious group of fans when it comes to final tickets, so if you feel like saving some money it’s probably the way to do it.

They can if everyone in pot2 waits for pot3 but run the risk of not being able to get them together obviously

Aye thought might be the case

Count me in this too. Even just a chat with the powers that be to voice our opinions. Plenty of lucky Jonny come latelys who’ve just struck it lucky with timing too. Not that their voice is any different than mine, just ours seems to be flat out ignored.

No Jonny come latelys have a season ticket, unless they were astonishingly lucky when they came on sale that single time since the new owners arrived.

Almost 100% sure members were treated a hell of a lot better than this last time. Many cases of season ticket holders missing out in favour of members, which doesn't seem possible at all this time. There had been less home ties to use to stagger the pots, worth considering.

Some season ticket holders kicked off about the fact they could lose out to members last time so it seems to me that has been taken on board.

Aren’t away tickets exclusively for ST now? Officially anyway? i.e. there’s no mechanism now for Members to get even run of the mill away tickets. I used to go to plenty of away games as a Member, the club helpfully deleted my points too.

Yep, no ST, no away games

Can’t even borrow an away ticket off someone with an ST as there’s a chance you get your collar felt for ID at the turnstile and then the ST holder is in a world of pain from the powers that be
