I'd rather it kicked off at 8pm than 1 tbh

Early check in for my hotel only begins at 12, would be a push... However I think I'd just cancel it altogether and head back up here straight after the game if we kicked off that early.

A bit like Sunderland away the logistics of checking ID/Tickets for all those attending is way too onerous to be done on a larger scale.

The club will always maintain that there will be checks for obvious reasons. You’re taking a gamble if you gift the ticket but I’d hazard the odds are heavily in your favour.

I have a 7pm train, so not really sure what to do in the event of a later kick off than anticipated. Even feel like I'll be touch and go with a 3pm kick off.

Shocking that they're pissing around like this.

Is it an LNER train? Usually if you speak to their customer services they’ll give you a refund in credit to your account. Obviously at this stage, booking another train will likely be a canny bit more expensive, if you can even get one, but at least the credit will go part way to covering that.

Not a chance in hell it'll be an 8pm kick-off!

Met will not allow it - no chance - the state of people by kick-off [emoji38]

99% have booked up and will be on 6 / am trains and on the lash [emoji38]

I was told the reason that the atmosphere in the last cup final was so bad was cuz everyone was so tired of drinking the night before. So surely they'll be too tired to drink until 8 o'clock and it'll be fine

I was in Block 127 last time.  I don't think the atmosphere was that bad...  at least not around where we were standing.

It obviously got worse after the first and second Man Utd goals.

Then that odious chant - "You've seen United now fuck off home" started to echo around...   urgh....  :suicide:

And then 50% of their fans did.

7pm seems very early for this game even without knowing the official KO.

Surely you booked based on a 4/4:30KO which would be the usual main slot for Sky.

That would lead to the final whistle at best 6/6:30pm.

45mins if you are extremely lucky to get to Kings X but to reach train I would’ve factored in 1hr at least.

If we win you surely going to hang around 15mins or more to see us lift the cup if we win? Thats before we even discuss potential extra time or penalties.

Even a 3pm KO would be needlessly tight.

"Live round the corner ... you only live around the corner" (to the tune of 'Guantanemera') is surely the standard response to 'United' fans at Wembley?

Turnstile was automated and had no one on it.

No checks no nowt last time round once through either.   Had a few perimeter searches for bags/pat downs but nowt ticket related, and then some security scanner gates once up the shitty little escalator and some personnel there - again no ticket checked.

Obviously can't vouch this time round, but that was my experience.

Got to factor in the Liverpool fans without tickets making an attempt to get in as per.

Should be a decent amount of lower bowl tickets left we reckon for Pot 2 sale tomorrow? Was last time when in Pot 3.

Yes. As expected only 5K in queue today approximately.
