I agree he’s not the best on the ball, and that has been a longstanding issue with English centre halves.  But BDB is an underrated footballer for me - and this is Man City’s forward line he’s up against, and he’s surrounded by a LB having a ‘mare and sat behind a midfield which hadn’t offered much protection

Spot on!

‘Bad day at the office’ for me.  I can understand why Howe would’ve been tempted to do what he did first half after the Arsenal LC match but it backfired.   I really don’t want to see Trippier starting PL matches anymore.

Hopefully at the very least stops us doing in cup final and finding out that way

It's got to be a worry for the cup final mind, how many times have we went behind and looked clueless on how to muster a chance nevermind a goal.

Came from behind to take points more than ever this season though. Good point as usual.

I hate that this is an opinion, that this is okay because we always play badly here

No one said it was okay. It's about whether the form factors into how seriously you take this in the grand scheme of things. If you don't really believe in things like records between teams I would imagine you take this result and performance much more seriously in the grand scheme of things than you might if you do believe in them.
