Not sure what else people where expecting tonight tbh, we are a million miles away from these lot and missing our best player.

I don’t think we’ve been shite, by any means, we’ve just been absolutely bereft of ideas, but Liverpool haven’t really got out of second gear.

Missing some of the core of our spine in Isak/Joelinton/Botman  is massive and can’t be underestimated. However we’d need all of those to be fit and playing well to beat these lot, who seem to have every single run of the green, every bounce, every bit of luck going, added with the seemingly endless amount of iffy decisions going their way too.

Hall was great against him first half (and I'm the first to dig Hall out for his defending!). Hall has just been dragged away as we're chasing the game. He just needs discipline for the full 90 not to worry about attacking.

Just needs more support really.

Willock was poor in that regard especially.

Seems to be always a question of mentality against this lot. Talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. Don't see much joy at Wembley, unless we get all of our players back that we can. Even then, still a huge ask.

Ugh... still in the FA Cup though!

This last 15 minutes has been bad. The gap between us and this Liverpool team is Grand Canyon-esque. Especially without Isak but even with him I'm not sure we do THAT much better.

Isak doesn't change this shit show.

He does like. He makes everyone better. Murphy and Gordon have someone to find who can get on the end of most passes. Good or bad. He frightens defenders too.

Pile of shit, Man City away, Liverpool away, the most pointless fixtures for us, we never ever get anything.

Fuck off!

Chelsea too. The exact same performances at these grounds every year in my lifetime. Sick of it tbh.

Hopefully we might buy a new player in the summer, just putting that wild possibility out there.

We will, James Trafford and that's your lot.

Men against boys most of the game. We're our levels below. We'd need every player back fit and bang in form to stand any hope, even then it would be very unlikely.

I'm not sure how he helps our non existent midfield tbh.

Tbf the sycophantic running commentary doesn't help the old rage levels, could they be any more biased?

They’ve been embarrassing. Fucking whoppers.
