Kanj
We should be going here with this team and winning. Our front 6 should dominate.

alexf
Would suggest that means he's planning to go with Barnes over the Willock/Joelinton combo next week then. Big chance for him in that case, hope he takes it.
Miggys First Goal
Eddie must see something on the training pitch with Pope that we don’t see when it comes to match day.
St1pe
I don’t know where I’m at with the Pope v Dubravka thing. Dubs didn’t deserve to be dropped and Pope has been awful since he got back in. By rights he shouldn’t be playing but Pope’s ceiling is much higher than Dubravka’s and I’m assuming Howe wants to give him every chance to be up to speed for the final.  My gut feeling is he should have just backed Dubravka and that’s from someone who doesn’t really rate him.

I hope Dubs is playing the final, he's got more of a big match mentality IMO.

They’re big enough games.  But even as a fully signed up member of the Pope fan club. He started this season a bit up and down. Then looked extremely rusty and slow in the two league games recently.  He’s our number one and showed he was a better keeper than Dubravka when we signed him. So can only assume that is the view Howe is still taking. Rightly or wrongly.
