Targett is a player like Krafth Barnes tripps that I feel need minutes before been put into matches cold.

Definitely Tino in the final but I wouldn’t be against Targett in games going forward when we need more of a balance when attacking

VAR was right not to get involved but I would be pissed off if our goal wasn’t a foul for the push in the back if the shoe was on the other foot. We will take it though

I think that call and the penalty at the other end could have gone either way and VAR wouldn't have turned over either, another day we just lost that to a soft foul and a soft penalty.

Huge result, that. Wasn’t amazing football but it didn’t have to be, just needed that extra bit of quality. They were absolutely shite. Expect us to on a good run now in the league.

Great result to keep the race for Europe hopeful and gives us a big carrot to chase coming out of the final.

Still believe it would take some kind of miracle to win the final with this team.

West ham were awful tonight but we still gave away some scary moments defensively.

It probably was a foul technically if we're honest. I think if the cross wasn't going comfortably over the defender's head they'd have pulled that back but as it had no bearing on the game they didn't.

what is with this interviewer - desperate to make it sound like west ham were hard done by

Sky are desperate to make a big deal out of it. Most likely because there’s nothing else to talk about from that game as it was so shit.

I think him going down so theatrically worked against him. Wasn’t enough force for the dive he made.

Still not sure why so many were so sure of a west ham win before, they look worse under Potter from the games I've seen of them.

Very important win in terms of context but the game itself was awful.

They were absolutely dogshit. Potter has a real job on to sort that out.

Reminded me of us when they were chasing the game. That's not a compliment btw!!

Interviewer was trying to point out an inconsistency between Kilman decision and Bowen's desperate penalty claim when she actually proved they were entirely consistent - i.e VAR does not get involved in things like this anymore

That wasn't a game for the ages, disjointed, too slow in the main, poor ball control and build up play. But we were good enough for the win, the better side, we barely got out of 2nd gear, no injuries or suspensions and it never felt like we were truly in danger of conceding.

Now let's hope PSG take Liverpool to ET, a really long, gruelling night and a deflating penalty shootout loss please.

Liverpool will win at a canter. 3-0

Trippier wasn't bad by any means tonight but that long ball over his head is such a danger.

Feels like it was so easy to get in behind him and almost showed the main reason why Pope needs to play with this back 4. At the very least he sweeps better than Dubs.

Im afraid we will see his limitations massively exposed vs Liverpool.

Tripps or Pope?  Because I personally think Pope will be our hero on Sunday.

I do want us to play well at some point mind.

It’s not happening without 2 new first team players. Resigned to that now. Lots of shit wins between now and end of May please.
