Mixed emotions for me tonight, my dad passed away far too soon last year and was a massive fan. Would have meant the world to see us win tonight.

Enjoy everyone, what a fucking rollercoaster.

Liverpool colleague at work chirped up on Wednesday during a meeting about looking happy and it won’t last come Sunday afternoon.

Straight to his office first thing tomorrow, scarf in hand and shithousery locked and loaded.

I can’t write a post worthy of the occasion. It was magical, surreal, very emotional. I’ve dreamt of this since I was 5 and sometimes wondered if it’d ever happen. I can honestly die happier than before today  I filled up when Burn scored, and again and again. To go ahead even, to score, for a geordie to score. To score again at our end and see the ball hit the net. To deserve it so thoroughly. Fans were a credit too, I’m hoarse, partly from singing but more just shouting COOOME OOOON. for Bruno to lift it, for Trippier to be part of it. Endless reasons for joy end tearing up

going to be hard to turn off and sleep on this overnight bus back

Now now! Maybe he meant HE was looking happy and prophetically predicted it wouldn't last for him come Sunday afternoon.

Fuuuucking hell that was emotional at the end. I was with my brother and we managed to get a ticket for my dad so all three of us finally got to experience us winning something (he's too young to really remember/appreciate the Fairs Cup win).

What an incredible atmosphere; the fans really did turn up this time. The players repaid it and then some.

One of the highlights was a pile of bodies after Isak's goal; the old bloke next to me nearly went over the edge of the top tier. We managed to get him back upright and he was fine, but he and two others were horizontal for a few moments.

So i know we were all properly too terrified to believe, but that first ten mins or so after all of our players had a touch did anyone else get the little tingle of hope?

Started for me with Trippier winning his first duel, then Tino went on a positive run and I just thought "hello, there up for this, it might not be the usual not turning up".

All of them were near perfect, the only slip was the Bruno failed pirouette that led to the goal, which shows just how clinical they can be if we had gifted hem anything else. But no criticism of Bruno he was great apart from that.

But despite everyone player great big standouts for me were Burn, Joelinton, Livramento and Tonali in terms of overall performance. Murphy Isak and Barnes did the business aswell. Trippier great first half and managed his injury or whatever he had well 2nd half.

Love them all. They are all heroes. I still can't believe it finally happened.

Yeah think it was about 10 minutes in where I thought "this one feels different". The last 3 finals we played like Liverpool did today.
