When does the adrenaline stop pumping?

Will it be like this the if/when we win another cup?

I can’t see how it will be. I’m sure we’ll all enjoy it but I don’t think anything will top 56/70 years of waiting, all the near misses, then beating the runaway league leaders with a performance like that. It was perfection.

Nothing confirmed but there have been rumours that it's 29th March. Mark Douglas mentioned the Town Moor.

They should have it in Leazes Park as a bring your own shovel.

Correct if wrong but we have just become only the 7th club to win a domestic trophy in the last 11 years

Think that's right back to 2013/14.

Man City (all three)

Chelsea (all three)

Liverpool (all three)

Leicester (league and FA Cup)

Man United (both cups)

Arsenal (FA Cup)

Newcastle United Football Club (League Cup)

Yes its grim and likely to get grimmer, thanks to rule changes like PSR and more and more subs letting big clubs face you with 16 stars, not 11.

Since Sky etc. won't point it out to you, I'll stick this in capitals in an attempt to grab more eyeballs and make an important point about fairness and competititiveness in English football.

WE WON THE FIRST EFL TOURNAMENT TO INCLUDE SEEDING OF TEAMS PLAYING THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AND EUROPA LEAGUE

THOSE SIX TEAMS ALL GOT AUTOMATIC HOME DRAWS IN THE THIRD ROUND (LAST 32) SO THEY WOULDN'T PLAY EACH OTHER

The higher ups and their media lapdogs don't want to share trophies round. That's why they talk of "quadruples". Liverpool didn't even reach the last 8 in the Champions League. That's about as close to winning as some long-forgotten England manager, say Capello, came to winning the World Cup.

Not taking away from your point, but it was all 7 teams and they didn’t all get a home draw, most of them did, but not all of them.

They aren't guaranteed home draws, but still ridiculous. The more "the others" can disrupt things like this the better. This season it was Villa instead of Chelsea (though they still drew Barrow at home). Next season could be Forest and us (or Brighton / Bournemouth) instead of Man United and Spurs.

Steal as many trophies, league places, and European spots as possible and some of these rules will start to disappear.

Saw a few half/half scarves yesterday mind 🤢

All the kiosks were selling them outside the ground

I found the whole Wembley experience much better this time than 2 years ago (result helped obv) but the tubes in and out were great and not packed and found the atmosphere outside the ground before the match better

29th apparently.  All the local police have had their leave cancelled.

May or this month? Thought it might be at the end of the season.
