I feel like I saw a mirror version of Tonali's goal from the left hand side many many years ago by hasselbaink when he was at chelsea, does that ring any bells for anyone else?

(it's also possible microplastics have ruined my brain)

Yeah @thomas, of course it's the microplastics.[emoji38]

It all felt discombobulated at times, maybe a bit of a cup hangover going on? Isak was off the boil, thought Tonali, Livramento and Barnes were the stand out players, everyone else was a bit meh.

Having said that, we looked dominant for the most part, I think 2-1 flattered them a little and bar their little flurry of pressure at the end they didn't really bother us that much.

It's a great 3 points, against a very well organised team with some dangerous players on the back of a 5 game away win streak.

Ffs!

Naturally you might think, this next time is the time they finally go the other way

Or at least I would think that 😂

Agree, saw the stats and like, go left. How the hell do you go right when 100% of his pens are to the left😂

Weird game, Brentford were rubbish but we couldn’t put them away. And we were wasteful and sloppy at times. Thankfully we came through it.

The ease with which we handled Mbuemo might concern the recruitment department a bit.

Tbf he was up against the left back that's second only to Lewis Hall in world football.
