I get it. Losing is rubbish and, any other season, we're not in the CL, so I feel a bit sheepish and fortuitous. However, 20 wins in the PL is an absolutely brilliant effort and we deserve it on the basis of that. Not forgetting we've overcome the financial structures which set out to pin us down; it's a brilliant achievement.

Totally agree with you. Just not feeling 100% the same as I should feel now. I’ll get over it.

Also considering the squad we have? Ending up with players from 4 years ago playing!

Speaking of Forest, Nuno will probably get sacked by that fat Greek owner who gave him grief last week...

His style isn't sustainable they've over achieved this season on all the stats.

Don't give a fuck about the performance or result.

We're playing in the CL next year have a trophy and a hefty transfer budget.

A 1-0 loss to Everton does not make that any less exciting.

Bring on the summer you cartel cunts.

My word. Terrible performance but ulitmately irrelevant because events elsewhere meant it didn't cost us. We ended up fifth and that is good enough for what we want. As many have said over the years, the league table does not lie.

I take it this means 50M plus for our transfer kitty and Villa selling Morgan Rogers. Crack a beer lads! Great craic over the season and it was a pleasure to spend it with you.

This turboshit Everton side have taken five points from us this season

Might be missing something but that's not possible... is it?

Maintained for 2month on here that we needed a result to go our way.  Expected it a bit sooner than being the last game to blow of the whole season but there you are.

Need to now secure a creative midfielder and right winger followed by a pacy centre back. GK too if we have spare funds.

Think of the bigger picture. I’m going to turn off for a while and let this whole season sink on.

Absolutely hopeless performance when it really mattered.

I really hope that Gordon went off injured because I have no idea how Barnes stayed on ahead of him otherwise.  Barnes had a very poor game, couldn't do anything on the right in the first half and then vanished for most of the second.

I pray that this was Willock's last game for us.  We may have well brought a traffic cone on instead of him for all he did.  He deserves a lot of praise for the work he did a few seasons back but he's been dreadful for most of games he's played this season.  Time for a new challenge.  Same goes for Wilson.  Pointless bringing him on, completely past it.

Howe got the lineup wrong in the first half but the players were the ones fucking it all up.

2 weeks ago we were in with a chance of finishing 2nd in the league and today we needed Man Fucking United to save us.  Embarrassing stuff.

Come August, when we're all hunched round the TV looking at who we're facing in the Champions League. No fucker if remember the last 90 minutes.

I only managed to see 3 wags before they turned the stream off. Bruno's looked great. Barnes and Gordon brought on disappointments, any updates?

Duuuude.

Finally If you did not expect NUFC to put us through the ringer , you obviously haven't been around long. The difference this season we won a cup as well

Ultimately this was a zero-sum thing. Either we made the Champions League and continued our ascent, or we didn't.

And we did.

So I'm going to end up not giving a fuck about how it happened.
