How are Spurs galvanised exactly?

The manager is trying sure but it's yet to be seen if the players respond.

I take your point and we will get a better idea at the weekend whether this is the case or not. I’ll be delighted to be proven wrong!

I suppose what I am trying to say as we should not underestimate the situation- all the other clubs - at the current time - are managing to galvanise themselves into a realistic but positive mindset with their fans and players pulling in the same direction. We need to do the same thing. Fans need to support, players need together and management need to find a safe passage.

It's too late for unity sadly. The negative voices have got too loud as this forum is testament to. Some fans are trying to be supportive in tough times. Others are not.

That is my concern, I hope everyone is supportive at the ground tomorrow no matter what. Sometimes negativity can be self-fulfilling

It'll be the same as any other time. If we start well and on the front foot foot, maybe even get a goal, the crowd will respond positively and get behind the players.

If we hand Brighton the incentive from KO, play like we have been for quite a while now, and heaven forbid go a goal down, the crowd will respond negatively.

Players need to show that they are up for it though.

100% agree.

Score first and crowd will be up for it.

If not, and worse depending on team selection, then it will turn toxic.

Yep, if Villa are not odds on to win then Spurs are automatically more likely, betting wise, to get something out of the game. The Spurs 'Double Chance' (win or draw) odds are 4/6 or 8/13, meaning it's more likely they avoid defeat than Villa (23/20) win.

It's nothing like as tough a match on paper as it was a few weeks ago where Spurs may have been circa 5/1. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they did get something, I just hope we are not only 5 clear come Sunday evening.

Deeks at Denise Coates giving it the big one

100% agree but if players are already low on confidence the crowd at the game can make them play worse.

We're already in a relegation battle though, make no mistake about that.

Its mathematically possible with 4 games to go...

I don't think we will be relegated though.

You must agree we are also in the battle for a European place then?

They were given an unbelievable reception before the Sunderland match and the noise at the start was immense. Then they proceeded to fold like a deck of cards. Regardless of the atmosphere they have to show some heart today as a very minimum. Fans will react positively if they do that. If they don't show up again fans will let them know, and rightly so.

Course he won't

It's all very dramatic talking about mathematical possibilities when its going down the way.

The fact we are closer to a European position doesn't fit the howling narrative though

We wont get near to either for what its worth

Not that I necessarily agree with him but it's not really the same

Overtaking 7 clubs with 4 games to go is less likely than being overtaken by 3 clubs

I'm not howling. 🤣

And I definitely agree with your last sentence.

We've lost 4 in a row, that's why we're more worried about relegation than excited about maybe winning 4 in a row and making Europe. I don't think we'll get relegated, but I think it's something the team should be thinking about and should make sure it's impossible as soon as possible.

No way you will go down but after spending quite a bit last summer its a poor ending to the season. Lucky Spurs have been so shite otherwise you might of been the big talking point in the media.

Still haven't let it sunk in that spurs has an above 50% chance of going down lol. Insane.

I'll start to worry for us if we lose and Spurs win this weekend. I don't care what the percentages above says, it's going to look at bit scary then.
