It's an absolute trek for most of our fans and we always do really shit there. Same with Bournemouth, though Brighton also have blue and white stripes which is a naff colour scheme. Optimistic Nut Posted Friday at 15:59 Share Posted Friday at 15:59 Have to admit when I first saw this thread at the top, I thought something big had happened in terms of ownership that might have been in another thread I'd not yet read.
stozo Posted Friday at 16:00 Share Posted Friday at 16:00 West Ham a long shot shout? Think they are FFP constrained this Summer, Potter doesn't seem to have really got them playing and if they lost Bowen for an extended period of time they may look very vulnerable. Helped push through FFP with your lot vocally. Cunt. 2. Location. Arse-end of the country to get to. Overpriced. 3. Fan base. Non-existent, passionless, Southern. 4. Predatory Minteh deal. 5. Long term on the pitch nemesis, we always struggle to beat them, especially at the Plastic Card Stadium. 6. Trelford Mills. Google him and the 1983 game. Up there with Uriah Rennie and Jeff Winter in the referee motherfucker stakes.

Brighton have 30,000 (if that) customers. They’re an insipid, soulless club unfortunately run by smart, ambitious and forward thinking people. Pretty much every other fanbase hates us aswell. Just look at every match thread from our opponents forums. Everton fans were saying that we were one of the "sky darlings" and how we were getting ref decisions our way and was going to spend £300m in the summer. It's not like PL isn't literally trying to make rules specifically desinged to slow our progress.. I wonder why if they are getting payed by the Saudis to let us succeed. Maybe the new rules are just a cover up! Edited Friday at 16:52 by Erikse

James Posted Friday at 17:05 Share Posted Friday at 17:05 If they sell Fernandez and unless there is a big Man City points deduction coming up, Man Utd will go down. its just a really bad malaise that we have seen at NUFC when we went down. The problem Man Utd have is that opposition players will be fired up to beat Man Utd more than they will be against Leeds or West Ham.

Sibierski Posted Friday at 17:30 Share Posted Friday at 17:30 Sunderland and Burnley guaranteed down. Then Leeds will be next closest unless they nail their signings. Probably only have them close to staying up due to their home crowd. West Ham it depends how they click under Potter during pre season. Got enough for a safe season if it remotely clicks. Palace could be in trouble if they start like they did this season, as Europe will make it very hard to correct that form. Everton / Wolves are functioning well with competent managers to be comfortable bottom half. If West Ham are named to be down there, I think you have to put Spurs down there too. Take Ange first 10 games out of things, it’s 66 games and 80 points, with 116 goals conceded. That’s a long stretch of some terrible form, that is only getting worse. Erikse Posted Friday at 17:42 Share Posted Friday at 17:42 (edited) Man Utd also has no Europe, so they probably won't get many injuries or much fatigue. I think around 7th is pretty likely. Edited Friday at 17:43 by Erikse

Wolves were a better team without him. he spent a greater % of matches walking last season than any other player.
