Al-Nassar is essentially Cristiano Ronaldo FC. So I would put more weight behind a theory that he wants them to sign Wissa as it fucks us over and helps Man Utd.

This transfer window has turned this place into whatever the football equivalent of Info Wars is

If Wissa goes to Al Nassr I genuinely might walk away from following football.

Padel is starting to get quite the following. It's getting more and more appealing by the day

If our own overlords who have overseen a complete dogs dinner of a transfer window are the next to cuck us, then that'll probably be enough to make me abandon football completely and start following Tiddlywinks tournaments instead

Brentford havent got any attacker in yet did they? losing Mbeumo and Wissa and having 3 weeks left for replacements quite bad outcome if if they end up with 100m+ from sales. oh and Frank replaced by one of his staff member. expect a brutal shit season for them.

Arguably had a worse summer than us, which is some feat, if they lost Wissa with no replacement.

in the same scenario as us however in that not signing a replacement for their outgoing striker so they have to keep them is probably the best outcome for both.

Provided both players don't go on strike for the rest of the season. Then both clubs are screwed really.

I suppose they still have that Schade and Igor Thiago who was injured all season wasn't he?

Hope we get Wissa now, he makes loads of sense for us. Our best option for the season might be to try and go the PSG route - rapid, fluid forward line of little lads rather than a recognised striker. Keep the striker powder dry for next summer [emoji38]

Agree.

but the "powder dry" line always sends a shiver down the back as a reminder of the Ashley era.

However it's looking for the first time like it's a relevant stance. It feels like any one we go for now is full "panic-buy" territory.

Imperative this bloke signs, we're utterly fucked if another club comes in at the last minute. Need to get this done and wrapped up and if it means going a few mill  more than we'd like then so be it. Add the extra on to the Isak fee, they can pay the extra the fucking skiprat cunts

I’ve giving up hope on him signing. We need him regardless if Isak stays or goes, offered £25m 3+ weeks ago and done what since? Nothing.

Clearly not keen for the price or we’d have done it by now.

More this window goes on, what the fuck made the Elanga deal happen? It just sticks out like a sore thumb to the rest? Was it a deal Mitchell actually got lined up earlier in year so was a simple deal to do once season ended?

They said they won't sell until they have a replacement and they haven't signed one.
