There's a player there in Jackson, but not for the supposed asking price. I'd also worry about the lad's character - last thing we need is a toxic arsehole in the dressing room (if he is dodgy)

At the minute we’re not going to be scoring more than one goal in the majority of games as that’s what happens when you rely on your midfielders to score, Gordon up front or big will isn’t gonna get any. Everyone knows we need a forward and we desperately do - we’re approaching do or die territory.

Hes a good player already, he’d win the doubters over quickly. Howe would have him moving like a menace in our front line. 
 

BUT the contract he’s on at Chelsea likely kills this one stone dead anyway, if true at all of course.

He’s pretty quick, good presser and that link up from midfield. If we do go for him who am I not to look forward to seeing what he can do. Botman though, that’s a whole different story 😂

No such potential rewards exists for players who have inflated asking price but are limited at football and prone to total head losses.

I swear all these "transfer gurus" are desperately trying to sell Nicolas Jackson on behalf of their client Chelsea. 

 

This is also not a straightforward deal to make. He's on an 8 year deal, Chelsea's valuation is absurd (clearly emboldened by fleecing Arsenal for Madueke), he's on big wages, and he's stated that he wants to stay at Chelsea.

 

I seriously doubt we'd go for Jackson unless it's a deadline day desperation move.

It's very straightforward, Chelsea would love to double what they paid at least and would be delighted to get shot. The players knows his place this season is the bench.

He would be fine for £50m or even £60m considering the desperation but £80m is way too much. Was a good finisher in his last season at Villarreal and the hot headedness could easily be fixed.
