Aye his movements not great off the ball first thing i spotted from tonight. Doesn’t protect the ball that well either, also a problem with Sesko’s game when I’ve watched him play.

To be honest we’ve undoubtedly overpaid for this lad but I’ve got no doubt we’ll get a tune out of him and he’ll score goals in the PL once he settles.

Beir and Amiri have stretched the Irish defence far more, Big Wolt looked far too easy to mark. He doesn't look like an out and out front man at all, now I understand why there was talk that he is not really a front man, looks like he needs to be playing deeper, probably off the main striker rather than as one himself.

It depends if you are a cunt or not.  Based on the fact you have posted that before he's played a game for us I'm giving you a 8.5 on the Cuntometer.

I may score high on the cuntometer, but with Barnes and Willock benched, who else will I roll my eyes and sigh audibly at?

I might wait until he has kicked a ball or two in our side. Before judging him based on a dreadful, boring looking Germany team.

...rest assured, if he does take a bit of time to settle, we can write him off as we did with Gordon, Hall and Tonali.

His inexperience shows and I think it will be 12-18 months before we see the best of him.  Think Wissa will be the main man with Woltemade rotating in for this time.

He doesn’t seem confident enough yet to come deep and demand the ball, he did drop deep but stood there while the ball was out wide. He didn’t go towards the player in possession and demand it.

Can’t say how much this was Nagglemans instructions to operate in those areas only. The confidence will come with experience.
