What about that Swedish club (mjällby) small fishing village with a population <1,500 running away with their league. Surely that is a nice story.

Yeah but it's the club Sweden Democrats (far right/ultra conservative with nazi roots) party leader supports....

Really hope people aren't underestimating this lot. Champions of Belgium and it's not exactly a farmers league anymore. Strength wise it's pretty much level with Dutch league these days.

Aye it's ranked 8th strongest league in Europe (Dutch 6th). I watched their game against PSV and they were very, very good. They're already well clear at the top of the Belgian league as well.

Hopefully we can start on the front foot for a change, put them under a bit of pressure and see what they're made of.

Hard to feel confident going into most of our games now given how disjointed the play in the final third is.

Hooefully Wissa will give us an edge when he returns but that’s still a way off.

Would happily take a point against this lot.

These lot are like a Brighton lite. If we’re not at 100%, we’ll be embarrassed. Do think Ramsdale starting would help us build up more and retain possession away:

Ramsdale: Trippier, Thaiw, Botman, Hall: Tonali, Bruno, Miley: Gordon, Woltemade, Elanga

We have to get Hall and Gordon together at all times, but I suspect it will be Barnes as Gordon started last two.

Not opposed to it myself.

At the end of the day if only Woltemade and Tonali can be deemed a positive it doesn't really matter what the system is.

The rest of the midfield/wingers have to turn up, the rest will take care of itself.

I think it was circa 11 points to qualify for the play offs and 16 points to qualify automatically last time around.

If we write off PSG, we need 3-4 wins from USG, Bilbao, Benfica, Marseille, Leverkusen and PSV to progress.
