As for Ando, I mean if he's not whinging about defending he's ambiguously "OHHH"-ing. At one point today he randomly yelled over Razor going "THEY'VE DONE IT AGAIN!!!" Had no fucking idea what was going on. Thought it meant another late goal conceded for a sec.

 

Bloody whirlwind of an experience. Probably wouldn't recommend.

 

Games on Metro were my childhood and loving away from Newcastle Razor and Ando have been the main way of keeping up with games.

 

Having spent time listening to other local commentator teams we really do have a belta of a pair, despite as you say their obvious points of either unprofessionalism or hyperbole

I do. I’m hooked. Even when watching the game on Sky/TNT. It sometimes involves a bit of tinkering with the timing, pausing one or the other until they synch. Gets even more complicated if I forget I am slightly behind and follow the game in here as well. Must be a few of goal celebrations from me, on the match thread, embarrassingly behind the action!

I bet that's amazing tbf. Razor would do well for tele tbh, it's the spells of not knowing what's going on that troubles me, but maybe I shouldn't expect audio description levels of detail.

I see we've got a new HT game / entertainment.  It looks so cheap/tacky as usual, although the prize is good (trip to Vegas I think).

No doubt about it, the energy levels went up massively with Osula and Elanga.  Great subs from the gaffer

Most pleasing thing for me from the last two games. Is the positive impact the subs have had. Won us the game yesterday. Totally dominant once Tonali, Schar (sloppy passes aside) and Barnes got on. Even better when Elanga came on. Then Osula’s directness leads to the goal. 
 

Must be good for morale and keeping everyone happy and it’s nice to finally have some genuine options for most positions.

Aye. Listening to games on the radio’s like Chinese water torture and I only listen if I can’t get the game on any tv/stream.

The best way to work out what’s going on is to listen to the crowd noise. It’s always slightly ahead of his commentary and you can tell straight away if we’ve scored or missed and how the game’s going generally.
