If this is a tough game, I don't know which ones will count as on the easier side.

I honestly don't think easy games exist in the PL nowadays.

Sunderland was meant to have been one iirc, but we seem to regularly find the supposedly "easy" ones very difficult :).

Apart from last season. 36 points from 36 against the bottom 6, and some of them were pretty ‘easy’.

It is different this season like. Even Wolves, who’s points total is pathetic, have more about them than the likes of Southampton did last season.

Sunderland are a very pragmatic side, they will make it a hard game to play football.

Burnley are led by Scott Parker, last I heard he was a football purist, and that's usually a recipe for being a relegation candidate for newly promoted sides in the PL. These are exactly the sort of games we should be confident of winning. There's no way they should be able to go toe to toe with us and outplay us. We should be all over them and rattle in at least 2 or 3.

Is this a game where we could give Miley more minutes at RB? Howe seemed impressed with him there the other week and said he'd look at it again - could be one of the only ways to give Tino a break before Trippier is back (maybe on 60 minutes if we're comfortable).

He will have them all camped in behind the ball. We should still have more than enough and anything other than a win is a disaster.

Nah the recent Spurs, Marseille, Brentford, West Ham one.

The wins over Man City and Everton don’t count, even though more recent than Brentford and West Ham that were also both away?

In 4 of the last 7 of the matches we've scored first we've went on to lose or draw the match. We've also conceded 3 goals >90 minutes in that time. A late equalising 1-1 is not out of the question hence a very tepid prediction, gulp.

Two of those three 90+ concessions were when we were already losing and chasing the game.

So the ‘trend’ of conceding a late equaliser, is basically a trend of one.

Well, the actual trend is scoring first then ceding ground but nevermind.

0-1 Burnley.

Just batter the fuck out of them until the walls are nothing but rubble.
