At least he’s closing people down. we were able to play Gordon in quite a few times though I thought. They’re both fast and run a lot, but the difference is that Gordon’s movement is deliberate and smart. Osula mostly just runs in hope. he’d be great in Bundesliga where they can’t defend Edited February 21 by Smal
Moose
Not bad at all considering that the refs are incompetent clowns and some of our players have rocks for brains

That’s the difference in the two squads I suppose. Barnes was really close to scoring at the last minute though. If that had been Ramsdale as their GK.. Mattoon
Ran out of steam and ideas as the game came to a close, still frothing over the Burn offside, can't see how a player can be deemed to be having an advantage when the defender made him have it. Second half was pretty much all us and overall I thought we played better than arguably the best side in world football. I think it's fair to say that the Howe corner has been turned once more. We deserved something from that game but I'm really happy with the performance and we didn't take a hawking.

But the game has almost no structure because we generally only have the ball for seconds and we’re chasing around after Man City.

Thats true, but we have seen this pattern before. He doesnt have the instinct of a striker.

Keefaz
To give some props to Woltemade, he does take up some decent positions at times and doesn't receive the ball.

andycap
Watching today I never noticed how much city push players and get away with it. Shirt pulling goes unnoticed aswell.
