Dr. Nguyen Van Falk
We won't get Bale or Barnes. Why? Don't think we will get Bale but I reckon we stand a good chance with Barnes. Because other clubs want them who have more money than we have to spend to put it simply.
Howaythelads
Haven't a clue, which is good because it shows the club is keeping things private and doing things properly. I expect more late deals than early deals, so if we sign any players not deemed to be the players people would like we'll get the 'bad planning' stuff back to the top again. However, all clubs, players and agents will want the best deal they can get, so this is a pretty logical way for it to work out.

Guest BooBoo
Roeder will follow up the signing of Massimo Maccarone with an audaucius swoop for Razak Pimpong. Pimpong is Sh*te in the danish premier league.....

Nate
Some time in January, a new left back..... Olly's Back In Toon, 1st February 2007 Oliver Bernard sensationally rejoined Newcastle United late last night, just weeks after having his contract torn up due to fitness problems. Glenn Roeder is supposed to have made the u-turn on the Frenchman's future after discovering Wayne Bridge, who he'd been watching throughout the window, had already signed a new contract at Chelsea several months previously. Roeder stated: "We're delighted to have acquired the services of Bernard for the remainder of the season. He's a player of real quality and someone that will help propel us up the Premiership table" Bernard was unable to make a first team appearance during his last spell at the club, yet Glenn is confident he'll return to action in no time. Roeder said: "Unfortunately he's been wasting away since leaving the club and we'll have to fatten him up before he's ready to make an impact, but i'm optimistic he'll be in the squad to face Liverpool on the 10th"

Cajun
Huntelaar is the target. Would imagine he would be a little costly. If we sign a good left back and a decent striker then I will be reasonably happy anything more will be a bonus.

Do you believe that every player linked with the club is of genuine interest to the club? Some will be and some won't be. The question asked was to predict who will join. The answer is I don't know. But it didn't even looked like he was asked about those two, his answer was something like "the only championship players im interested in are Bale and Barnes" not exactly keeping club business private. Doesn't mean we're going to sign them. The business of the actual players the club may be actively trying to sign IS private right now.
