Guest JS
Looks ugly as sin that. All student halls buildings do despite many efforts to try otherwise. Wait thought all the students where going wild cos the fees went up? Obviously even more demand cos these f***ers are getting built everywhere. Yep, they are. Both Northumbria and Newcastle (who own a hell of a lot of land) are at capacity and student population is still growing year on year despite the raise in fees; one example of this can be drawn from new starters who arrive late being pushed into private accommodation in Heaton and the likes. Both universities have also invested heavily in new infrastructure and buildings (Business school, INTO building, science research along St James', conversion of Kensington Terrace listed buildings into more student accommodation). No way would they contribute millions if they were unsure of getting people, shall we say, over the line That new INTO building opposite the Haymarket has already reached capacity after the first year or 2. Inevitably you'll find the 2nd/3rd/4th year students being pushed further outwards of the city centre and surrounding areas into private accommodation also. Loved those high floodlight pylons too. St James' looked fantastic whenever i approached it as a kid. Those lights beaming. Feeling very nostalgic now.
