A bigger version of Atlético Mineiro's Stadium wouldn't be too bad, rectangular, stands close to the pitch, and low roofs to keep the atmosphere in.

Looks shit to be honest.

There would be a way of doing it without making it tacky.

On POTT podcast, Chris Waugh is saying that he’s wrote a mega article that pretty much answers everything about what the club will be doing in regards to the stadium.

A few days after the club announce the plans of what they're going to do in regards to the stadium.

Given they will consult/inform if we are moving and they haven't yet does it mean we are staying ?

Nah, he just says it will focus on the questions the club will be asking and then answering those questions. I’m going to assume that it’s going to take the emotional attachment towards SJP out of the answers.

No, I assume it’s soo though, otherwise he wouldn’t have mentioned it.

He did say that it’s going to be mega long, and he’s already had to half the content.

In an era of digital content, I’m not sure why he couldn’t have just wrote an extra long article to be honest, even if he spilt it into different parts.

i love st james but its no longer fit for purpose. the concourses and turnstiles are shite.

we're lucky as we have ST's.

but loads of friends and my kids mates can no longer get in to see us play - they can get the odd ticket here and there but never a proper visit where they go in a group.

needs at least a 65k capacity.

Anyone been for a piss in the east stand recently? You need a fucking hazmat suit.

He didn't say it quite like that, he said its a mega article about all the potential available options,  each of their feasibilities, what the issues about them options are and how the club might react. He made a point of stating there is no definitive answer in the article, and that he has no knowledge as to what the club are thinking.

Massively long article with nothing that we don’t already know. 😂

That was pretty much my conclusion after reading it.

The internal doubts about PIF willingness to fund it are concerning mind.

When I'm going around the North East to different companies and I ask people if they want to stay at St James or move the oder people tend to want to move and the younger ones want to stay

Those doubts can’t be a surprise at this point, either.  The article mentions that three years in and there’s still nowt on a new training complex.  The numbers involved with this are massive, and every penny spent needs to be checked off with PIF.  KSA isn’t noted for timely decision-making nor for wise investment choices.

As I've been saying, these decisions are how I will gauge how invested they are. If this is kicked into the long grass as the training ground appears to be will tell me all I need to know.
