Whitley mag
What’s the craic with the 2 areas of cat 3 seating in the Leazes End? The same seats in the Gallowgate are cat 2 and worse seats in level 7 cat 2. Be a bit miffed if I was in the equivalent Gallowgate seats paying more. lovejoy
I was told, directly from Hopkinson, that we had a record breaking sleeve sponsor and a record breaking training ground sponsor. I’ve no idea if that means record breaking for us or in general, I’d presume us on the sleeve, but we’ve never had a training ground sponsor so £1 would be a record. So 🤷🏼♂️. My take is Hopkinson is no mug, and he’s made some very bold claims about where he wants us to be, so you’d expect to see some pretty big movement in terms of revenue or we don’t stand a chance of achieving what he has set out. But as ever, talk is cheap and we’ll believe it when we see it. Edited March 8 by lovejoy

Especially now that the seats in level 7 above them at cat 2.

JT24
Club legend if he has a deal lined up to replace Noon.
Turnbull2000
Wouldn't put it past the PL to intervene and block it if we had a 'record breaking' deal lined up. Wouldn't be fair value having commercial sponsorships remotely close the breakaway clubs.

Colos Short and Curlies
You'd have thought the finer details on a shirt sponsor would depend on likely league finish and CL performance this year. Lose to Barcelona and finish outside of European qualification will mean a lower fee than being a semi finalist and in the Europa League next year. Doesn't mean we don't know who it will be, but also that we're not in a position to announce it

Champions League price, Europa League price, Conference League price, no European football price, then performance related bonuses.

Groundhog63
Bear in mind I'm lazy af and don't pay attention often 😂 but I've been using this site to have a look at the views we're likely to get from the various seats we buy from ballots/member sale. Been all over the ground so it's been a canny tool 🤪 Anyways, I had a gander pre-City as we were back in the Cocoon Stand east paddock then scrolled down. Realised they're a ticket platform as well so had a further gander for any TWO seats together at our games. Seemingly they have loads 😱💩 https://seatpick.com/st-james-park/seating-plan

bobbydazzla
@Groundhog63 This is a much better way to check the views from every seat https://preview.3ddigitalvenue.com/newcastle-united Plus the added bonus that the ground is full of computer generated clunge. Isn't it commonly known that they sell tickets that they don't have because they know they'll probably source it from somewhere else by the time kickoff
Danh1
Hope saying 4 big screens in the stadium next season. Apparently everyone will be able to see at least one. Where will the go? Sounds like it’ll be tacky as fuck. Don’t even need one imo, the timers they put by the corner flags are sound.

I don’t like being able to see the screen, I don’t want to see any replays til I watch the highlights later at home - part of the fun. I like having the timers too, all I want. The screen is pointless for VAR too, you can always tell from the ref before the screen.

The lights on the inside of the roof already block the opposite goal if you’re dead centre and standing up.
Wilson
Possibly the bit on the right of the gallowgate, 'behind' the corner?
bobbydazzla
Can have more adverts with a big screen And they can be used to add to the razzmatazz And nothing beats the edge of seat anticipation of being in the stadium when there a 7 minute microanalysis VAR review raking place on 4 x jumbotrons Edited March 13 by bobbydazzla
