We'd be at risk of losing fans to the north sea but something like this with a Wembley Way esque walk to the stadium would be class

I’ve resigned to us moving, but deary me, if our new home is anything like the Spurs stadium I’ll be mortified.

Plastic, Americanised, corporate bullshit. Shite. Full of whopper tourists too. I don’t want our club to be this.

It have a different feel being in Newcastle rather than the metropolis that is London.

We’ve locals willing to fill it. Spurs extra attendance from afar is very much built on players like Son playing for them. Not that it bothers me personally.

Latest financial figures shows how much we need to move on. Unless you want to go backwards that is and stay parochial.

Probably not. I’m going to guess Heineken and Spurs may have some sort of exclusive deal for that, ruling out them doing it for Brown Ale.

The only ones I think who may do it, would be Anarchy Brew, but then would they have the money for the equipment?

I did think it looked very touristy whilst watching the telly and it made me wonder if we’ll end up the same by building the Sven Adult Books Magpie Megadome

Kid with “Isak can I have your shirt” sign in the front row of home end behind goal, am sure woman with him celebrated when we scored

So many people in pitchside seats watching match through phone screens

Loads of Son fans who are probably only there to support one player rather than team he plays for

Various other kids holding up “can I have your shirt” signs at every opportunity

Plenty of other offences and misdemeanours, but those ones stand out

I’m going to guess the tender process will only start once the plans are announced.

I’m also going to guess that it will go to a company the Reuben brothers usually use.

It's a beaverton brewery in Spurs ain't it?  Granted they are owned by Heineken.

Was it not a kid asking him to sign for Spurs?

Went a few times as a bairn and was told the matches were rigged to give the fans a show

Still enjoyed seeing some famous players in a small ground though

Looked absolutely horrendous in the home end. Their main singing stand, that huge Kop behind the goal appeared to be filled with budding photographers, lots of Asian tourists who would have been there to see Son, and someone with a cardboard sign in the front row right behind the goal begging for Isaks shirt.

I know we think that the Gallowgate is shite, which is generally is, but by God if we sunk to these levels it's time to pack up and call it a day.

Aye, it was full of complete whoppers.

Another thing I found unbearable were all the LED advertisements. Tacky as fuck. I’m still yet to attend a stadium built in my life time (1990) that makes me think a move could work out.

The Emptyhad was similar on MoTD. Plenty of Chinese tourists smattered amongst the empty blue seats.

Spurs was meant to be the new ground that bucked the trend in terms of atmosphere / not feeling a completely soulless environment.

What are the examples of new grounds that don't feel completely naff compared to somewhere like SJP? As far as I can see there are none, certainly not in this country.

This is why I'm still firmly against moving. Moving from a proper football ground to a soulless structure and never being able to turn the clock back sounds a nightmare.

I also don't want us to make a forever decision on the basis of FFP, a situation that is relatively new and may not be here for that long for all we know.
