wonder if llambia and the lawyers will be interested in this.....I bet there is something in the viewing rights about using a specified name?

 

I wonder if we do lang champ lge footy. if the management may see enough revenue cominginto be sensible and abandont he sponsored thingy.  I think they said the stadium naming rights could bringin 10mil, which is close to the revenue for champ lge run??

Is this the Gabby Logan who refers to the Barclays Premier League, the Britannia Stadium, and whose company interviews managers with a bank of advertising logos behind their back? She's a professional within a world where the commercial exploitation of football within the media is routine. Getting on her high horse over this particular issue is rank hypocrisy.

It's not hypocracy at all though really, we've discussed at length the difference between renaming a historic landmark and normal sponsorship situations.

Yes. The Premier League has always been proceeded by a sponsorship company and what say could she possibly have in the logos on the BBC interview board?
