NUFC06
Obviously Roeder realised that we dont have the chance finishing in the top7
Skirge
Well the place will go to the highest placed team outside of European the spots..
Dave
We've got some work on to catch Everton if they don't get an automatic spot.

Skirge
We should be invited back anyway to defend our title!!
Nate
So, if the FA Cup Final is contested between two teams in the top 6, does 7th place become an automatic Uefa Cup spot? And then 8th for the intertoto?
La Parka
Isn't their a place up for grabs from the League cup too? 1st CL 2nd CL 3rd CL 4th CL 5th UC 6th UC 7th UC (league cup) 8th UC (If FA cup is as above) 9th ITT Or am I wrong?

I think thats the case... blimey potentially 8th place can gurantee you european football next season.
Stevie
Just been on SSN, Us, BlackBurn,Everton and I missed who else they said have all applied for the Itertoto. How you still got SSN?
Stevie
It's 1 CL 2 CL 3 CL 4 CL 5 UC 6 UC - because Arsenal will be in the CL another LC winner would've got this 7 UC - if FAC winners and losers are in above position 8 IC If the FA Cup final isn't Chelsea v Man Utd 7th will be IC
Skirge
On freeview Stevie, my dvd recoder has a built in digibox. I would be doing me nutt right now without my daily SSN fix..
Dave
It goes to the highest application though, so if Everton finish in the top six and nobody else applies we could get into the Intertoto again in 15th, as long as Blackburn finish below us.
Dave
I think.
Guest king harry
Newcastle, everton, bolton, spurs and boro have applied. If the two teams in the final of the FA cup are in europe already, the place will go to one of the losing semi finalists.
Skirge
Do they not invite the highest finisher outside of the Euro spots if non of the aplicants finish there?

Stevie
No it doesn't. What your saying is Plymouth lose to Man Utd in the Semi and MUFC beat Chelsea in the final, PAFC are in Europe? That's not how it gans.
SEMTEX
If the two teams in the final of the FA cup are in europe already, the place will go to one of the losing semi finalists. COMPLETELY wrong.

You must finish no lower than 4 places behind the autmatic Euro spots to get into the Intertoto. So if 7th is the an automatic spot the lowest we could finish would be 11th. Yorkie
Touch and go this season. Should be a interesting finale tbh. Don't anticipate finishing higher than Everton or Spurs, though.
