Kimbo Posted March 11, 2007 Share Posted March 11, 2007 I would probably go with the same team as last time to be honest, except i'd play Edgar ahead of Carr at LB(but that's not going to happen). It's tempting to put Emre in as he's perfactly suited for euro football but i don't think he'll be fit enough to be doing all the chasing and closing down they'll have to do. Can't see Roeder dropping Nicky Butt he was instrumental in pressing and breaking up AZ Alkmaar's moves. Ashley17 Posted March 11, 2007 Share Posted March 11, 2007 It's Roeder so we all know he likes to surprise us, he might put Milner on the right and Emre on the left, leave Butt and Parker in the middle and play Dyer off Martins. He could do anything really, Roeder with options is terrifying. I think Sibi has to play because any idiot could see he was the link between defence and attack and once he'd gone off keeping the ball in the final third just didn't happen. Only change i would make, if push came to shove, would be to put Milner in and push Dyer upfront, dropping Sibierski. But that would be it. Why change the team that pummeled four goals past this lot just a week ago? Given Solano --- Taylor --- Bramble --- Carr Dyer --- Parker --- Butt --- Duff Martins --- Sibierski Alternatively... Given Solano --- Taylor --- Bramble --- Edgar Milner --- Butt --- Emre --- N'Zogbia Martins --- Dyer That second team there is actually close to my preferred, chosen line-up.
