I don't rate Ameobi either but i still wouldn't sign a 35 year old has been with no pace whatsoever anymore. We might as well ask Shearer for another year as well because of the feel good factor and for the sake of it. The only thing Fat Jimmy is hungry for these days is his pre-match meal. We need youth, and players at their peaks as far as strikers go. I'm all for signing an experienced defender and midfielder maybe, but certainly not a 35 year old has been striker.
